The role of a Close Protection Operative, or Bodyguard, is to protect individuals or groups from risk of violence or kidnapping, or any situation which could be harmful to the client whether physically or reputationally. The Principal, or client could be, politicians, CEO’s of large corporations, royalty, and TV, film and music celebrities; however this list is not exhaustive.
The job would typically involve: protecting the Principal from threats, for example from terrorists, political opponents, stalkers or over-enthusiastic fans, carrying out advanced searches of premises before the Principal arrives, carrying out threat and risk assessments to identify and prevent potential threat or disruption, remaining alert to react to threatening situations accompanying the Principal on business and social visits, and driving the Principal to and from venues.
If you would prefer your protection a little less 'close', then we also provide protective surveillance, meaning you can rest assured you are in safe hands, but without having the intrusiveness of a security presence by your side, or attention being drawn to you as with overt protection.
